About Us
Established in 1964, Bambeck and Vest, began as a carpenter to customer business. Andrew Bambeck and William Vest, our founders, created everlasting relationships based on a few simple principles; Quality, Trust and History. After Andy's unexpected death in the 90's his daughter, Dianne Bambeck, took the reins of the company and modernized its practices still in place today. Dianne implemented company paid health insurance, computerized the entire financial system, and fostered Andy's deep customer relationships. Dianne retired at the end of 2025, after 50+ years in the business. Now, Bambeck is co-owned by David Dooley, Nikkie Benintendi and Matt Rothmund.
Quality
Bambeck self performs all on site supervision and carpentry in house. Having a Bambeck employee on the job from day one until occupancy allows maximum control of the job. Bambeck believes that quality can only be achieved through close eyes on all jobsite personale. Our eyes and ears keep everyone honest and prevent anyone from cutting corners. Every Bambeck project manager comes with at least a decade of field experience, meaning they know what it takes to achieve the highest standards required of each and every project. Our project managers speak with truthful construction knowledge that can only be learned in the grit of the job site.

Trust
Bambeck and Vest lives by our customers. We feel every customer is a long term partner, whether its a one off job or a long term project. Our repeat customers can attest to our honor of never hiding the facts, even when its competitive bidding. Far to often has the industry suffered from cozy words and feel good slogans upfront, then a pile of change orders for the customer at the end. Bambeck will always put every fact and issue of the project we can uncover upfront to the customer on proposal day. We pride ourselves in delivering extremely detailed proposals, not bottom dollar one pagers that hide all the holes. Bambeck provides detailed item by item, what you will receive, and often containing additional items/costs not foreseen by looking just at a drawing package. Our long lasting generational history only comes with the customer and the truth.
History
Bambeck and Vest prides itself in the rich historical properties of downtown Cincinnati. Understanding and preserving the building practices of the past allows us to better understand how to maintain the ever shrinking trades. Skills here at Bambeck are passed down from generation to generation. Our project team has invaluable experience in most of the downtown historical buildings, such as Dixie Terminal, Carew Tower, The Mercantile Building, Cincinnati Enquirer, and Central Trust Tower. Bambeck and Vest is proud to have spent the past few decades modernizing the Dixie Terminal buildings, even adding an additional floor to Dixie South in the late 80's, Bambeck still holds pride in the work we have done in them over the decades.

The Bambeck Team
Bambeck leadership has a legacy of multi-generational construction knowledge.
